He-Ann-Kong Temple (Ho Ann Kiong)
The Ho Ann Kiong temple, built by the early Hokkien community and situated at the city’s Chinatown tourist belt, was the oldest structure here, dating far back into the early 1800, aging over 200 years old._
Note: This temple was destroyed by fire in 2010. Being the oldest and largest temple of worship for the Chinese community in the state, it would be difficult for the rebuilding process given that the materials used are near non-existence and requires funding to restore to its original state. Skillful craftsmen from China may be required to restore the temple back to it's original state. This is such a huge loss!
